Tanzania and Kenya Combined Safari

This package offers you best chance to witness the Great Wildebeest Migration all year round as visit both parts of the Serengeti-Mara ecosystem which is home to the annual wildebeest migration where 2.5 million wildebeest, zebra and gazelles follow the rains in search of new grass. They make their way from the Serengeti to the Masai Mara somewhere around July and August, and usually arrive in September. The crossing of the Mara River along the way is one of the highlights of this spectacular event. They slowly head back into Tanzania around October

Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi-Lake Nakuru via Lake Naivasha

Pick up after breakfast and transfer to Lake Nakuru. Proceed on with your game drive. Lake Nakuru National Park which covers 180 sq km. The park is home to warthogs, waterbuck, buffaloes, reedbucks, and the occasional leopard. White and black rhinos were introduced to the park some years ago and you may find white rhino at the southern end. The park has also retained its reputation as an ornithologists’ delight with more than 400 species of bird found here. Lunch at Flamingo Hill Camp. Enjoy your afternoon/evening game drive at Lake Nakuru National Park. Overnight at Masai Mara Sopa lodge. Full board accommodation.

Day 2: Lake Nakuru to -Masai Mara via Lake Naivasha.

Before departing for Masai Mara. Boat rides can be arranged at minimal cost by your guide at Lake Naivasha.(Optinal)

There after proceed to Masai Mara Game Reserve. The next two days shall be spent game viewing, either in the early morning hours or in the evening as this is when we have the best chances of seeing animals.

On clear days, the Mara offers fantastic orange tinted sunsets and you will definitely want to capture this moment while sipping on a sundowners back at your lodge. The Mara reserve is 1510 sq km of incredible wide-open landscapes and fertile riverine woodland following the looping meanders of the Mara and Talek rivers. Wherever you go in the Mara you will see a frequent amount of wildlife such as Masai giraffe, baboons, warthogs, bat eared foxes, grey jackals, spotted hyena, topis, impala, hartebeests, wildebeest. Elephants, buffaloes, zebras and hippos also exist in great numbers. It is also common to see lions either basking after a heavy meal. Overnight at Masai Mara Sopa lodge.

Day 3

All day game drive in Masai Mara and overnight at the same as above.

Day 4: Masai Mara-Serengeti

Transfer after your morning breakfast for Serengeti National Park. This will take up to 8 hours total of driving through, leaving with en rote game drive from Masai Mara to the border, exchanged cars and drivers from Kenya To Tanzania, at Isebania border. Then proceed to Serengeti Grummeti migration lodge for overnight just bordering the park.it is about 3.5 hours-4 from Masai Mara to Isebania bodre of Tanzania and Kenya where you will be exchanging the cars and drivers then another 3.5-4 hours from the Border to Grummeti Seregeti Migration tented lodge.

Day 5

Full Day Game drive inside Serengeti national park and overnight at Katikati tented lodge/Serengeti Tortilis camp.

Day 6

Early morning game drive inside Serengeti/on transit game drive to Ngorongoro conservation area for afternoon game drive inside Ngorongoro crater and overnight at Ngorongoro Rhino lodge.

Day 7

Depart Early Morning from Ngorongoro conservation area to Amboseli national park via Arusha City and then Namanga border Evening game drive in Amboseli and overnight in Amboseli sopa lodge.

Day 8

Early morning game drive in Amboseli till lunch time then depart to Nairobi for your night flight back home/ for your Nairobi Hotel (this Nights hotel is not included on the price).
