Day 1: Arrival in Zanzibar
You will be picked up from the airport for then transfer to Zanzibar Stone Town, the old city and cultural heart of Zanzibar. This place had minimal change in the last 200 years hence your chance to experience its well-preserved heritage and exotic antiquity. You will stay at Tembo House Hotel equipped with a swimming pool among other amenities such as WiFi and television. Briefing dinner and overnight/free time.
Day 2: Stone Town Walking Tour
Today after morning breakfast, with the help of our guide. You will start a tour in this town. It is only place in the coast of Indian Ocean were many historical events are manifested. For example a visit to Zanzibar museum, Zanzibar ruins, the former cathedral, slave market and mosques.
You will have the chance also to visit market and test the hospitality of Zanzibar people. In the evening, depart from the hotel for a sunset tour along Stone Town waterfront. You will have dinner in one of restaurants before overnight at Tembo Hotel/Forodhani park view hotel
Day 3: Spice Farm tour or boat ride to prison island
Today you go on an excursion to the spice and fruit plantations close to Stone town for the famous Spice Tour. We have developed a special Spice Tour with in depth information not only about spices, but also organically grown herbs and a detailed description about their traditional uses in medicine cosmetics and cooking. or you you can opt to do prison island boat tour where you can do snorkeling, coral reef site and tortoise and history of slave.
After the tour we invite for an opulent lunch at our guides’ chosen restaurant, where you can taste the spices and fruits. After lunch depending on your departure we will take you to the airport for your flight back home or other extensions.
